Huma-Tec
Humic Acids, Trace Minerals, Growth Hormones
Purchase 1 gallon of Huma-Tec for $25.
OMRI listed for
organic applications.
Huma-Tec contains liquid
humic acid extracted from Leonardite. Humic acid is a naturally
occurring organic substance found in soils, coal and peat,
resulting from the decomposition of organic matter, particularly
dead plants. It has a high cation exchange capacity which serves
to chelate (collect) plant food elements and release them as the
plant requires. The chelation process holds the nutrients in the
soil solution and prevents their leaching and runoff humic acids
will improve humus content in the soil for better tilth, water and
nutrient retention, and soil aeration. Seed germination and plant
root and top growth are enhanced.
Huma-Tec is one of our
most in-demand product for its outstanding
nutrient value at a very affordable price.
Order Huma-Tec today to give your crops the
boost they need!
Trace Minerals
There are more than 70 trace minerals in
Huma-Tec. These trace minerals are vitally important to grow healthy
high-yield crops. Trace minerals help to create a plant that is more
resistant to insect pressure, frost, drought and every other adverse
condition that limits a plants growth.

What are Humic Acids?
Humic acids are the end product of the microbial degradation and
petrification of plant and animal debris and are one of the most
important constituents of fertile soils. Humic acid derivatives are
mixtures of humic acid, and fulvic acid. Humic acids are mined for
agricultural use from both land and sea. The end product contains a
majority of organic material (concentrated humic acid) mixed with
smaller amounts of mineral matter.
Benefits
Humic acid has the serious attention of farmers, universities,
research agronomists, consultants, and fertilizer companies. The USDA
and over 20 major universities are conducting research on it's
beneficial properties and humic acid is considered to be a monumental
discovery in a plant's nutrition.

According to Dr. Robert Pettit, Professor
Emeritus at Texas A&M, Humic Acis does all of the following;
|
|
|
Breaks up hardpan |
|
Reduces alfatoxin formation |
|
|
Forms clay lattice that protects microorganisms |
|
Stimulates production of ribonnucleic acid (RNA) |
|
|
Increases sugar and chlorophyll content in the
crop |
|
Regulates growth hormones |
|
|
Increases metabolism within moments after foliar
applications |
|
Increases production of ATP, which is the
driving energy in the cell system |
|
|
Feeds microorganisms that recycle nutrients |
|
Stabilizes soil temperature |
|
|
Feeds microorganisms that produce antibiotics |
|
Holds 7 times it's volume in water |
|
|
Bonds soil into crumb structure for air, water
transfer |
|
Foliar fed fulvic acid facilitates chelation |
|
|
Absorbs toxins like salt water and pesticides.
Carbon charges bind to the toxic molecule, allowing microbes to
break it down |
|
Creates healthy root rhizoshpere which allow
organic compounds and minerals to move into the plant |
|
|
Increases cation exchange capacity - for greater
nutrient storage |
Field trials in the U.S. and Europe confirm the benefits of humic
acid, showing conclusively that it can promote plant growth
substantially. Farms that have already reached optimum fertilization
practices see significant improvement in nutrient uptake, plant
growth, and yield by incorporating humic acid into their fertilizer
program. Humic acid isn't a cure all, but it's benefits are
astounding!
Humic acid combined with urea, for example, can double nitrogen
life and efficiency. When combined with herbicides it can detoxify
residues and improve kill rates. Plant uptake is improved for
most additives whenever humic acid is included in the mix.
One accepted use for humic acid is in pre-plant or starter phosphorus
bands, as it greatly improves phosphate availability even in high
lime soils. Plants have a hard time taking up phosphates in high
pH soils and the abundance of calcium in these soils leads to the
formation of calcium phosphates that become almost as insoluble as
teeth. Phosphorus tie-up is especially critical for annual crops that
are planted in the Spring when soils are cool. Humic acid chelates
soluble calcium and protects the phosphates from the calcium /
phosphate interaction. The amine functional groups of humic acid can
then absorb the phosphate anions, improving availability for plant
uptake.
Huma-Tec is a concentrated liquid
product of the highest quality that is a mixture of humic acids,
cultured soil bacterias and trace minerals. One gallon is
equivalent to 500 pounds of dry humic acid. Huma-Tec is rich in
the organic and mineral substances essential to plant growth and helps
retain soluble fertilizers in the root zone for release as needed.
It's very easy to work with too. Homogenized and screened thru a #100
mesh means no plugging of nozzles.
Reduce the salt index of Starter Fertilizers
Besides the fact that humic acid stimulates the germination and early
growth of plant life, another benefit of putting Huma-Tec (1
to 2 quarts) in the starter solution, is it's ability to buffer the
salinity and toxicity of commercial fertilizers. Most phosphate
fertilizers are formulated with ammonia, and seedlings are very
sensitive to ammonia toxicity and salt burn from applied fertilizers.
By absorbing ammonium and sodium cations, humic acids reduce the
toxicity of the fertilizers.
